First Grand Dragon

Introduction

The first Grand Dragon was started in the mid 18th century by an army with the main aim of restoring and maintaining the white’s dominance and the superiority in the southern region of the United States of America after a long period of inter conflicts among the races. The organization Klan was involved in various battles with the government troops but after a period of fifteen years it had surrendered to the government after their defeat.

Role played by Forrest

Forrest was the formerly a slave trader and due to his experience he was endorsed by some of the Klan’s veterans to be their leader. Due to his superiority he authorized his troops to daunt and kill the blacks and the whites who were loyal to the republicans. Furthermore, he had boosted the organization to almost every state of the US with each state having at least five representatives.

Developments

Forrest had implemented some acts which would be followed by the members and the opponents therefore some members withdrew themselves and weakened the organization. The more the acts were being implemented the more the Klan eroded and therefore the republicans started attacking it with the help of the Ant Klan. After the victory of the Republican Party in the general elections some if the senior members of the clan were to face the law due to their inhuman acts.

The prior members of the organization who had been sanctioned to be the leaders of their states decided to turn against the Forrest acts thus withdrawing from the Klan. This resulted to his resignation as the organization premier and moreover he was to be prosecuted for his illegal inhuman acts. He was not therefore being able to associate himself with the organization as a result of his acts and lack of support.

Conclusion

First Grand Dragon was the first Klan to be founded with all its members having gained enough experience to deal with any kind of problems. The organization was further catalyzed by the involvement of Forrest who brought in changes and developments towards the Klan due to his acts. These acts brought in some inhuman acts whereby some innocent citizens were being massacred especially the blacks and the poor whites who were loyal to the republicans.
