Omega-3 fats help lower bad cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of stroke. You can get omega-3 from salmon, mackerel, walnuts, and flaxseed.

Omega-6 fats
Omega-6 fats help lower blood cholesterol levels, foods that contain lots of omega-6 fats include sunflower oil, hazelnut and peanut.
